As the world around them shifted, Cosmo and the blue rat found themselves standing in the midst of a vast crystalline forest. The trees shimmered with an otherworldly light, their trunks and leaves formed from a substance that resembled neither rock nor wood. It was a sight that would've taken Cosmo's breath away had he not been so alarmed by his sudden transportation.

"Calm down," he muttered to the blue rat, who was frantically squeaking and leaping from one foot to the other on Cosmo's shoulder. "We're still alive, aren't we?"

He surveyed their surroundings, his eyes taking in the strange, glowing flora and the equally unusual fauna, creatures of iridescent scales and feathers that watched them curiously from the trees. In the distance, a city of shining spires and domes could be seen, its architecture unlike anything Cosmo had ever encountered.

Determined to learn more about this realm they'd unexpectedly entered, Cosmo, with the blue rat perched on his shoulder, began to make his way towards the city. As they ventured deeper into the crystal forest, Cosmo couldn't help but wonder what other peculiar adventures awaited him in this new realm... and if another jelly donut might one day transport him back home.

As they emerged from the crystal forest, the city gates loomed ahead. But standing guard at the entrance was a figure that Cosmo recognized: Artificer Axel of the Dunes, his robes billowing in the alien breeze and his face marked with surprise.

"Artificer Axel?" Cosmo called out, bewildered. "What are you doing here?"

The Artificer blinked, clearly taken aback. "Cosmo? I could ask you the same question. I was in the middle of my usual morning rituals when I saw a green glow envelop your house. Next thing I knew, I ended up here."

Axel's crow familiar, now perched on his shoulder, squawked and fluttered its wings, its eyes glowing an eerie purple.

"I see," said Cosmo, glancing at the crow. He then recounted his encounter with the jelly donut and the subsequent transportation to this realm.

Listening attentively, Axel nodded. "It seems we've both been drawn into this realm by forces we don't yet understand."

Axel gestured towards the city. "I've been trying to find answers in there. The locals have strange customs but are friendly. Join me?"

With shared uncertainty and the hope of finding answers, the two wizards, along with their animal companions, ventured into the city, ready to uncover the secrets of the crystalline realm and, hopefully, find a way back to the Runiverse.
