What is this?

Forgotten Runes Wizard's Cult is a collection of 10k Wizard NFTs. These Wizards are at the core of our ever growing community, lovingly referred to as the Cult.

Everyday, our Cult members contribute art, animation, stories, memes, and lore to social media and our one of a kind Book of Lore. The more the Cult creates, the larger the Runiverse becomes. As we say, "Lore is at the core."

This decentralized approach to world-building is what we call the "collaborative legendarium," and we believe it has limitless potential.

Who are the Wizards?

Each Wizard is totally unique, no two are the same. They are comprised of many different species, races, and genders.

Each Wizard also has its own unique name. The Wizard in the picture, for example, is Enchanter Oberon of the Bastion.

The Runiverse

Forests and mountains, rivers and rainbows, Sacred Pillars and the Quantum Shadow.

These places are filled with common folk, as well as stranger folk such as Fur Gnomes, Goblins, Vampires and Magical Beasts.

How do I get a Wizard?

The original launch sale in June of 2021, but you can still buy a Wizard from the secondary market on Forgotten Market, OpenSea, LooksRare, or any NFT marketplace.

What benefits come with owning a Wizard?

First and foremost, joining the Cult means you will be allowed to participate in our grand experiment of decentralized world-building. This is a revolutionary approach to building an IP franchise, which was never truly possible until the advent of blockchain technology. The Runiverse Legendarium aims to be bigger than Middle Earth, Westeros, and Hogwarts combined, because it is being built by an entire community of Cult members, and not a single authority.

Additionally, owning a Wizard NFT gives you access to many other treasures and surprises. Our NFTs are far more than a static image, they are alive! For example, you can traverse in metaverses like World Wide Webb 3 with a fully animated walk cycle. You can announce a "GM" to your friends on Twitter with our GM generator. What are you future plans for the project?

2021 was incredibly busy, and we accomplished more than we could ever imagine. But 2022 is going to be even bigger. We have many incredible upcoming plans, including a fully animated piece by Titmouse Studios, A Create-to-Earn game, a comic book series, 3D versions of all Wizards, and our highly anticipated Warriors drop. Join our Discord and ask around, our Cult members are very friendly and helpful! We also do a weekly Twitter Spaces, called Wizard Wednesday, where the founders talk about updates, answer questions, and inspire world-building.
