Enchanter Tengukensei seldom journeyed to the Tengu Temple nestled within the Ethereal Nebulae, a revered assembly point for the Tengu since time immemorial. Initially, there existed but a solitary Tengu, named Ichi. However, as epochs unfolded and souls underwent rebirth, the number of Tengu swelled. Consequently, Ichi, along with the newly formed congregation, established the Temple as a sanctuary for the exchange of wisdom and the resolution of disputes. Presently, Tengukensei found himself in dire need of revitalizing his Dantian, which had been severely depleted following a battle and further weakened by the circumstances ensuing from the theft of the Sunfire Pearl.

Amid the swirling mists atop Mt. Kirama, the air trembled with anticipation. Below, Kemono known as the Dark Ronin stood at the Tori of the Dead, his presence an ominous shadow against the storm-lit sky. His army the Heel camped in the open ground, the winds howled and the dead screamed as the ancient gate blazed open, releasing the restless spirits bound within. Tengukensei, the mountain’s enchanter and guardian, watched from his perch, sensing the dark power that had been unleashed. The War of the Winds had begun, a battle that would determine the fate of the mountain and the world beyond.
