It is not uncommon for Weirdlings to grow to the size of a large human, but Ian exceeded this standard significantly, weighing as much as ten fully grown men and standing at double the height of an average human, which made him an exceptionally imposing figure. The abilities of Weirdlings are notably varied, given their unpredictable nature; Ian was endowed with superhuman strength and near invulnerability. However, these attributes came at the cost of speed and intellect. Discovered by an envoy from the Duck Alliance, Ian was persuaded to leave his family and join their ranks, a decision made easier when his family sold him, unbeknownst to him. Despite his formidable strength, which allowed him to crush a block of titanium with ease or even lift a castle, and his durability that could withstand explosives and gunfire, Ian was inherently a gentle soul who quickly befriended all the hyenas within the Duck Alliance. The alliance tailored a special axe and armor for him, facilitating his swift rise through their ranks and putting him on the path to joining their elite squad, the Frightening Five. Nonetheless, his amiable nature and limited intellect were perceived as weaknesses. Consequently, he was fitted with a brain implant designed to induce a bloodthirsty rage, controllable by another member of the Five, to be activated at will.
