Magus Amir finds Wiz at the lemonade stand.
“I’ve noticed you here a lot. You okay, Wiz?”

“Yeah, I’ve been overly involved with politics lately,” Wiz replies.

“You were getting rather noisy about wanting change for a moment there,” says Amir.

“I believe in the potential here. I thought I could make a difference.” Wiz replies

Amir chuckles. “Wiz, you’re a carpenter. You build things.”

He begins to explain.

“Your change is made through your creations. One person alone cannot control the political powers of a land.

That’s why the Academy is governed by a council.

As Kelpie Academy grows, we may add more members as needed. We’ll look to the KAOTC Faculty then.

But for now, Kelpie Academy is governed by twelve members. These members act as a collective group to prevent any one individual from having too much power within the Academy,” explains Amir.

“What if an outside force tried to have their say in this council?” asks Wiz.

Amir replies, “Forces outside the KAOTC Council have no power over them. Institutions are best run this way, my friend.
