Ixar never thought he needed much

He never saw a reason for props and such

Believing weapons and wands were for a weaker kind

He thought he could be a strong wizard using just his mind

Reading books of magic day and night

He'd get lonely without a familiar in sight

And don't even get him started on runes

All the wizards with them were just "loons"

But Ixar's egotism cost him in the end

His magic was average and he couldn't make a friend

Loneliness was starting to get the best of him

He found a job at the El Dorado Inn

Waving to other wizards to enter the best hotel in town

He fixed his loneliness, but still had a frown

Even though Ixar was a rare wizard with 2-traits

The lack of possessions didn't make for a good fate
