Dear Merlon - I released the Pony of Fire from the stable tonight. I heard he entered the portal near the Black Sand and emerged unscathed. However, a "Fire Soul" also emerged and I ask, at what cost? The Pony of Fire is a sacred, powerful elemental pony and a soul copy, I would think would only bring evil things.
You know, we traveled the land and we were unable to secure the "Sacred Flame" and now this pony just waltzed through the portal?! There are some truly evil things going on and I want to get to the bottom of it. Is it safe for me to emerge from my seclusion to help in uncovering the mystery of these things?
I hear stories of Shadows, Souls and other sorts. I once spent what felt like an entirety in an realm of darkness and I do not want anyone else to be subjugated to such torment. Please write and let me know if I should return and your magic and the forces of good can protect me. I am afraid I have a fear of this darkness and what would happen if I was to ever be captured again. Please write back soon.
