BACKGROUND: Carly was born to a noble elf family near The Unicorn Gardens. As a child she was pampered and as a result she became lazy and spoiled. When she was a teenager, her parents sent her to a prestigious wizard academy near the Great Owl Obelisk to hone her magical skills and learn how to be a proper noblewoman. However, despite being intelligent and fully capable, Carly lacked the focus and drive to be a good student and often got in trouble for being tardy or skipping class altogether. Carly longed for adventure and had a desire to see the world. She found school incredibly dull and would rather be spending time on her favorite hobby: making maps. It is her dream to one day map out uncharted lands in the Runiverse and have fun along the way! Her plans were set into motion prematurely when her parents announced that she was to be wed to another nobleman from Obsidian City. Carly made the decision to run away from both school and her family to avoid this fate. Her familiar Onyx tried to stop her at first, but eventually agreed to accompany and protect her, despite his misgivings. Upon meeting the members of Canis Coven, Carly agreed to become their navigator, and is a lively addition to the group.
