Summoner Milton of the Quantum Shadow

At a very young age Milton became obsessed with becoming a summoner until finally when he was twelve, he tried his first summoning spell. After numerous failures he finally was able to summon something. It was a bat but it looked to be dying. Considering this was the first thing that he was ever able to summon Milton tried to nurse the bat back to health but nothing he did seemed to work. After doing some research he learned the bat that he summoned was a Forever Bat and based on what he learned he would need to give the bat blood which he did giving him his own blood.

As the bat started to become healthier and stronger it began communicating with Milton psychically. He told Milton that he’s been alive for many years and the two were now bonded by blood. His former human bond partner was also a wizard and gave him the name Night.

With Night as his guide Milton’s skills at magic and summoning grew exponentially. Once Milton became an adult, he began using his summoning skills to earn money which got the attention of the Red Hats who were impressed with his enterprising spirit and magic abilities. Milton joined the Red Hats becoming one of only two summoners in the faction (The other unfortunately lost themselves to the sacred flame). Milton’s skills within the Red Wizard Capital were heavily sought after and made him quite wealthy.

After years of mastering different forms of summoning Milton wanted to attempt something no one else has ever done successfully. Summon and control something from within the Quantum Shadow. He believed if this could be done this could potentially get the Wizards one step closer to finding out what actually lurks within the Quantum Shadow and potentially control it.

Word of what Milton wanted to attempt spread across the Runiverse and representatives from each color faction came to the Red Wizard Capital to discuss this further. The Purple Hats believed it was worth the risk while the White Hats disagreed vehemently. The Blue Hats were skeptical but felt this could be a rare learning opportunity if this did work while the Brown Hats felt there was nothing else to be learned from something this unpredictable and dangerous. The Green Hats feared that messing with the Quantum Shadow could anger it and may cause it to strike back against the land in some way while the Yellow Hats believed you only live once why not give a try. The Red Hats were split but eventually decided the risks outweighed any gains from this endeavor and decided against it. Milton reluctantly agreed with the groups decision to not proceed with the summoning publicly but internally he had already decided he was going to attempt this with or without permission. Thus begins Milton's journey of becoming Summoner of the Quantum Shadow.
