Many ask me why I spend so much time in pursuit of the perfect shade of blue. They consider it trivial. It is not. The purest blue contains truth. It contains power.

I am known for my inventions and innovations. My Alchemist’s Armor, for example. I’ve been commissioned for and designed many suits, each one slightly better than the last, a slightly more perfect shade of blue. This funds my work, yes, but it is also part of the work. There is no regression. I only fabricate a suit when the recipe has improved. I will not dilute the color via mass production.

The purer the blue becomes, the less frequently it improves. This frustrates many people. They do not understand my methods and motivations. They see the color blue on the visual spectrum without understanding that this is merely the most superficial apparition possible. I dare not even call it a layer.

Some have tried to copy my work. The difference in quality is quite apparent. Amateur work leads to amateur results.

The perfect blue is a tool, an ingredient, in the practice of perfect alchemy. It can only be obtained by that which it represents - magic, technology, and science - in perfect proportion and balance. That is alchemy!"
