Onaxx the Disillusioned

Gnostics are a misunderstood bunch, really. Most people see them as some kind of magical powerhouse, able to fling their spells at enemies with great force. But mostly they just feel lost. Lost in a world that doesn't feel real anymore. They hide in the caves, seeking enlightenment through the quiet voice within. They recoil at the sound of visitors, preferring to spend their time in either silence of the company of other wayward souls who want to enact the grand cosmic crisis in ritualised form.

Onaxx was particularly misunderstood, because he wasn't even really a gnostic. He just somehow ended up hanging out with a bunch of robed figures who seemed to like his jokes about the futileness of being a speck of sand on a beach of infinite dunes. They laughed and they drank, and before he knew it he was initiated. Then raised. Suddenly a master of his local chapter of wayward gnostic wanderers. He was glad when that was over. So he could sit back and quietly tell his jokes as the new waves of misunderstood mystics entered their glade.
