In the hallowed halls of magic, there exists a wizard whose very name invokes reverence and awe, Arch-Magician Nicolas, whose spells conjured tremendous force and whose wisdom rivals the old ones. However, one does not reach such advanced years and feats without harboring a few mysteries. As a young apprentice wizard, Nicolas sought to impress his crush at the time, a fellow classmate at M.I.S.T (Mystical Institute of Spells and Thaumaturgy). In his attempt to do so (which for the record was not successful), he unleashed a torrent of flames that wrought ruinous havoc, razing the entire institute to smoldering ruins.

In the present era, wanderers may stumble upon these charred remains, oblivious to the truth hidden within. Only two parties are privy to the history of the Secret Fire and the events that unfolded.
