Thorne Flagellator of the Forest (#646)

Owner: 0xAFF3…fAb3

The Vanishing Forest

Rugged paths I've trod,
Roots beneath my feet.
The forest, once my home,
Now fades like autumn's heat.

Mountain's strength I bear,
My brow etched with care.
But what use is might,
When the woods grow bare?

Earth's rune, once my guide,
Now silent as stone.
The hammer in my hand,
Feels suddenly unknown.

Falcon, keen of eye,
Watches as I roam.
Do you seek, like me,
A vanishing home?

Purple armor gleams,
A knight of the hedge.
But what foe can I face,
As nature meets its edge?

Shield points ever up,
A futile ward indeed.
Against the forest's fall,
What defense do we need?

Blue skies mock my grief,
As branches crack and sway.
Thorne, once forest's friend,
Now lost in disarray.

What worth has a flagellator,
When trees no longer stand?
The woodland's heart is breaking,
And with it, my command.
