The Voyage of Dex, Annihilator of Rogues

A Shanty

(Verse 1) One fateful night on tempest's tide, a tale we shall unfold, Dex set sail with his serpent friend, and a heart so brave and bold. A rumor spread from port to port, of pirates fierce and vile, Dex vowed to end their reign of fear, and sailed for many miles.

(Chorus) Oh, Dex, the rogue annihilator, sails the seven seas, With his serpent and his water sprite, he brings foes to their knees. With Sol Sword gleaming bright, he fights with all his might, Dex, the hero of the waves, protector of the night.

(Verse 2) In the darkest heart of the ocean's sway, they found the pirate fleet, A hundred ships with sails so black, and evil you could greet. Dex called upon his water sprite, a spirit strong and true, To stir the waves and crash the tides, and drench the rogues in blue.

(Verse 3) With Sol Sword shining in the night, he leapt from ship to ship, His serpent striking with a hiss, making pirates lose their grip. With every swing and every clash, the rogues fell one by one, And Dex, the hero of the seas, fought until the dawn.

(Verse 4) The pirate captain, fierce and grim, stood tall with sword in hand, But Dex, with his companions' aid, soon took his final stand. The Sol Sword’s light cut through the dark, the pirate's reign was done, And thus was born the legend true, of battles lost and won.

(Verse 5) From that day forth, the tales were told, of Dex, the Annihilator, Who rid the seas of pirate threats, and proved himself much greater. So raise a glass to Dex tonight, the hero of our tale, With serpent and with water sprite, he’ll forever prevail.
